How do I post an Ad?

Posting an ad on Sastoramro is total free, you can sell you items through Sastoramro without any fees or charge. This site is totally free to non business sellers. Posting is easy. Simply "Sign In" and follow the instructions below:

1. Click "Sign In" link located top right of the Sastoramro pages.
2. After you sign in you'll be taken to " Sastoramro", from here click on "Post an Ad Now" button on right of Sastoramro pages.
3. Then, choose a category for the ad you are posting and ensure that you pick the right attribute. As per example below "I'm selling a vehicle" so I've chosen that option, however if I was looking for a vehicle to buy I would choose the "I'm looking for a vehicle to buy" option instead. This helps ensure that the ad is placed in the right section of the site
4. Fill in all the required information in the "Post an Ad" page
5. You can also upload photos by clicking on “Add Picture”, buying features to gain greater visibility and making it personal by adding a contact name. After that simply click "Post Your Ad" or Preview to see what it will look like when the ad is activated
6. And you're done!

How do I post my ad in my location?

When posting your ad simply enter your Address, City in the Item Location field and your ad will be placed in the appropriate address. Your ad will be shown to other users who search at the location as well as those looking right in your address.

How can I include images - photos in my Ad? To include images - photos in your Ad:

1. On the Post Ad or Edit Ad page you should see a green button with "Add Pictures" label
2. Click the "Add Pictures" button.
3. Select a picture file from your computer's hard disk and click "OK". The picture will then be uploaded and attached to your Ad.

You can add maximum number of pictures across all categories. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words, so including one or more with your Ad will increase your chance of getting twice the number of replies.
How to register and post ads while registered? Simply click on "Register" link located top right of the Sastoramro pages and follow instructions below In the "Register" page:

• Enter your email address (please check that you've spelt it correctly)
• Enter a password with at least 6 characters unique to Sastoramro and re-type the password in the "repeat password" field
• Enter a text shown in left side
• Read our terms of use and privacy policy
• Click on "Register", you will be sent an activation email with a link to confirm your email address.

Login to your email and click on the link

Is it really free to post an Ad? You can post an ad for FREE!

  Can I post an Ad in multiple cities?

Sastoramro is designed for local face to face trading. We intentionally do not enable you to post your Ad in multiple cities simultaneously. Please post your Ad in the city - or city geographically closest to you - where you or your item is located and meet up and transact face to face. Do I have to register to post an Ad? It is not necessary to register on Sastoramro to post as Ad. Simply click the 'Post an Ad Now' botton at the right side of home pages, select the appropriate category, select fields that apply to your ad and write up a description. We will send you a confirmation email to verify that it is your email address and at that point your Ad will be visible on Sastoramro . Please save this confirmation email for future reference as you will need the links contained within to edit, delete or promote your ad. Also note that some ads may take up to a few hours to appear on the site, click on link below for further information on why

 Posting Problems I can't find my ad. What's happened?

If you can't find your ad on the site then first try the following:

1. Go to the Sastoramro homepage
2. Enter your 9-digit or 10-digit ad reference number into the search box. This can be found in the confirmation email sent to you when you posted your ad.
3. Click search
4. If this search doesn't locate your ad, and instead you see a message saying that no ads could be found then your ad is not currently live on the site.

Reasons why your ad may not yet be live

1. Your ad is still being processed If you recently posted or edited your ad it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours for an ad to go through the system and appear online. Give it a few hours just in case there is a delay in the system.
2. Your ad has expired, If you posted your ad some time ago or for an event that has passed, your ad may have expired.
3. Your ad has been removed for a posting violation

Why have I not received a posting confirmation email?

If you have not received a posting confirmation email, please check any "Junk" or "Spam" email folders to see if the confirmation email from Sastoramro was sent there. Ensure that info@sastoramro.com and sastoramro@gmail is added to your email "safelist". If you still can't find the email, please contact us and our friendly support team can forward on the manage ad email to you.

Does Sastoramro have maps?

Sastoramro offers a map service provided my Google Maps, when creating your ad include your address in the 'Item Location' field so that other users can see the location associated with your ad. The more information provided in the 'Item Address' field, the more accurate Google Maps will be at pointing to your address. Ideally you should include – Place name, Municipality/VDC name, District name; separated by comma “ , ” please see example below: Gabahal, Patan, Lalitpur You do not have to include your full address in the 'Item Address' field, you can post the ad with just your Place name, Municipality/VDC name, District name. If you are having any issues with an incorrect location, please click on "Contact Us" link located at the bottom of our help pages and log a ticket as we'd be happy to help .

Searching & Replying to Ads

How can I search and browse all ads in a State? To search all ads across a state;

• leave "What are you looking for?" field blank
• Categories as "All categories"
• and in the "in" field type in the state i.e. "Kathmandu"
• and click "Search"

How can I find ads in and near my area?

To find ads in your area enter the area name i.e. "kalimati" in the "in" search box and click "Search", this will show you all ads in your area from all categories To find specific items in your area enter keyword i.e. "Pulsar" then area name i.e. "kalimati" in the search box and click "Search", this will show you all ads that have the word "Pulsar" in your area "Kalimati" If you wish to look a little further out of your area and see surrounding areas choose a value in the distance droplist "+0km" to i.e. "+10km".

How do I reply to an Ad? To reply to the person that posted an Ad:

• Write a message in the "Poster Contact Information" box found on the right hand side of an Ad
• Finally click on "Send Email" (By clicking "Send" you agree to our terms of use and privacy policy.
• Your message will be emailed to the poster and not made public.

The poster of the Ad will receive an email with your reply. They will then contact you at the email address you've entered. Replying to an Ad is completely FREE.
